Healthcare Returns to Oke-Ola Farm Settlement.


3,000 inhabitants of Oke-Ola Farm Settlement in Ogbomosho-South Local Government, Oyo State will now enjoy access to quality healthcare services as the Abuja Global Shapers Hub commission a newly revamped, refurbished and equipped Primary Health Center.This previously dilapidated and moribund facility was the only existing structure meant to carter for the healthcare needs of the mostly indigent members of this community.

In partnership with Selfless 4 Africa, the Abuja Global Shapers have implemented this project as part of its Emerging Leaders Program Award 2.0 won by a group of undergraduate students from the University of Ibadan.
In Shaping The Future of Health, the hub has adopted a strategic focus on leading efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s Health Systems, by deploying a multi stakeholder approach fanged around community targeted initiatives.
The commissioning of this project, facilitated by the Private Sector Health Alliance, Nigeria’s foremost private sector platform accelerating improvements in health outcomes, is billed for Friday 24th February 2017.
