The community-wide events will provide viewers with unprecedented access to insights from cities and issues in every major region of the world. The local events will also ensure that the local community has the opportunity to move the issue forward locally.

The Abuja Hub of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Community has been selected as one of the 16 hubs to bring Davos to their community on the theme of “Bridging the Urban Rural Divide”.  Urban and rural divide has gotten stronger as a key driver of societal and political friction around the world. With crisis in the North Eastern Region and also the Niger Delta area, there is a massive exodus from the rural areas to the center. There is need for the causes and impact to be identified and tackled as well as create cities that are engines of growth meeting infrastructural, jobs, education that meet the growing demands in both areas.

Shaping Davos seeks to identify the causal factors to radicalization impeding the growth and development of the Country as a whole by deliberating on the following issues ; Education , Health, Infrastructure, Local Governance, Security, Economic growth and social  Inclusion .
