Seye ODUKOGBE

Seye Odukogbe is a chartered engineer, and transport planning expert who has developed a range of sustainable urban transport solutions including rail, bus rapid transit, and cycle projects across Europe, Middle East, North America and Africa.

Seye is renowned as one of the young leaders in the transport industry in Nigeria for his contribution for developing and implementing projects such as the Lagos BRT.  He is also the founder of CycletoClass, a new campaign which aims to provide bicycle for children and local employment in deprived rural communities in Nigeria, particularly where transport is a major barrier to accessing education. Seye’s unrelenting desire to effect socio-economic policies that affect youths in the community has propelled him to design and deliver employability and entrepreneurship training for over 1,000 participants in the past three years. Seye is a Windsor Fellow, a member of the Emerging Leaders Network UK, and Trustee of Uprising, a leading UK youth charity.

Of his work Seye says, “I love life and I love people, by improving mobility and education I am not only saving lives but also raising the quality of life for millions of people.”
